• I'm using two 12V LiFePO4 batteries with this kit. I've done three trips now on a single charge and the battery indicator on the throttle hasn't even dropped a bar yet. The motor seems very energy-efficient.[2] Even when the power is off, it free-wheels perfectly, so you aren't fighting the motor if the battery does eventually run out.
• Tested this last weekend on a very 'claggy' track after heavy rain. Where I used to struggle and slip, the electric wheel just dug in and kept moving. Even on steep grassy inclines, the motor doesn't bog down. The auto-braking feature is also brilliant—it gives you so much control when going downhill with a heavy load
• I didn't realize how much I'd use the cruise control until I had a long walk to the far side of the lake. Just hold the throttle for a few seconds and it locks in—you can just walk alongside and steer with one hand. It makes the walk to the swim actually enjoyable instead of a chore. Very smooth power delivery too.
