I was curious how far it would go on two standard Milwaukee 5.0Ah batteries. I did a full lap of a 40-acre lake with a heavy load and the battery indicator barely dropped. By converting my existing Trakker Xtrail with this kit, I’ve got all the same benefits for a fraction of the cost. Plus, I trust my Milwaukee batteries way more than the generic lead-acid ones that come with some barrows. Excellent value for money.
I’ve used this kit through a very wet and windy autumn. The battery housing and the thumb throttle are well-sealed against the rain. Even through deep puddles and thick mud, the motor keeps turning smoothly. The cables are high-quality and the connectors are waterproof. It’s clearly been designed by people who actually go fishing in rough conditions.
